Working Life

Been working for almost 9 months now and so far it is still acceptable in the sense that I do not dread going to work every morning. One might say that I actually liked going to work.
(Yes, I am normal...Quite normal..=p...Some might say that how is it possible that anyone likes going to work and not dreading waking up every morning just to work. This I assume from the complaints and stories I heard about...What??? Work again??? =p)

My own opinion towards working might be different than others, however ultimately all work for MONEY..NO? That would be a definite yes. And since one have to work, why not do it cheerfully and with the spirit that you are earning the salary given and perform to expectation. (This assuming that the salary is on par with the workload and the time spend in which I know that a lot of you are not getting what is your worth. Right? =p)

You are actually paid for the time you spent working, TIME is Money as one would put it. So, by working or using your time you are compensated with salary. (But...but ...some work for free, HAH how bout that????........ I heard someone says. =p) That is not considered working, that is CHARITY and normally, I say normally Charity are done by the rich. Agree? Not to really do charity BUT to SHOW OFF that they ARE doing charity. But they are not showing off some might argue, if that is the case then there is no need to publish the names and just be anonymous right?

Speaking of working life, the work environment is very important in order to be productive not to mention the management must be "sensitive". Sensitive in the sense that caring for employees well being and benefits. No one wants to feels that they are being exploited. However, if you can exploit your employees or people without them feeling being exploited, then you might have the essence of Thick Face Black Heart.

Employees are the asset of any companies and companies with high employees turnover naturally would not be that ideal. The whole company are supported by its employees and the productivity of any companies on whether increased or decreased also depends on the employees. So, EMPLOYEES are important asset to any company. Especially those employees who are loyal, responsible, and productive. How to make loyal, responsible and productive employees? I would not go in-depth about that in this post but ultimately it is the salary or compensation for the time spent and efforts done that matters. There are other factors affecting this but ultimately it is the $$$$$, the moolah... =p

I can go on and on and on and on regarding this topic so it would be better to stop here and leave the rest to your opinions.

  1. yes, work environment is very important..the work environment there doesnt allow me to work cheerfully..
    if one company has a high employees turnover and the employer doesnt appreciate/respect his employees, cause the employees constantly resign..who's fault? employees who resign or employer?do u think is it still worth continue working there? these questions have been whirling in my brain for this few months...

  2. The rule of the tumb is always, don't work where you doesn't feel comfortable and if you HAVE to work then why not make it a pleasant one? =p

  3. actually it depend on wat kind of employer you deal with, it can be totally diff story. I work for this kind of company before and the current wan is better, tiny diff. when i was in my prev company i still go there and work cheerly, coz they got aircond, can online :) thats all and i wont worry bout my performance coz i know i wont be there so long :) it is totally relax and i enjoy there coz i got time to learn and practice photoshop and illustrator there :) it is all depend:)

  4. for me.. the most important element is whether you like your job and it is your job can give you satisfaction...

    no matter how good is the offer...if you dun like the job and dun have satisfaction on wat you r doing... for sure you wont have the motivation to peerform better and definately you wont stay longer to serve your company...

    But of course the salary wise also very important to determine is it we are happy with our job now.. cos we also hope that we will get the relevant and resaonable price for our time contribution...TIME IS MONEY
