Quality of Local Graduates

If you have not read the news regarding the case where a lecturer is victimized just because of being strict in the marking then you should.

And you wonder why the graduates need to be trained even after they graduated? Even more in English? They need the working experience, yes but retraining is just plain wastage of funds. The graduates should be already be trained in the basic necessary skills in their respective program especially communication or in this case English. And if you are saying that English is not important then why the need to retrain them after they graduate? Does that makes sense to you?

And yet you wonder why on earth are there that many unemployed graduates around especially local graduates. Although the education system is to blame which ultimately contributed to the said scenario but not all blame/fault goes to the system. You yourself have to strive for excellence and always need to have the desire to search for knowledge and skills. Knowledge hunger so to speak.

There is this famous slogan or phrase, "Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish" which actually indicates that one need to always be hungry in order for them to make effort for betterment and one needs to stay foolish to always search for knowledge. Learning is an ongoing process till one day when you are six feet under.

The world does not owe you a living but apparently a lot of people here thinks so and thus leads to lots of inefficiency and ineffectiveness.

That is all lah.

My england is not that good also.

Can understand ma also can sudahlah.

Ending my ramblings lah.

La La La La La

It seems that there are those who felt offended with me saying that the local graduates quality leave less to be desired. Obviously they are local graduates cuz if not why would they be offended?

Anyway, yours truly am the authentic local education system product. All the way up to my post graduate studies. Heck, they should make me into the Education Minister since I know and have gone through the system. Ahem. That's right. Vote for me. Ahem.

The point of this article is that if the situation or scenario can't be changed then change yourself for the best. Again, the world does not owe you a living. Quit sulking and face it like a man or woman you are. Ahem.

If it makes you feel better, not all of the oversea graduates are any better also. Ahem. That I know for a fact. Ahem.

A New Beginning

Completed my research paper. Thus, it is about time to re-enter the workforce. During the recession.

Oh yeah, talk about good timing.

Regardless the odds, tomorrow will be my first day at work in a new job and entirely new field.

After resigning middle of last year, yours truly been doing some freelance works while trying to complete his studies. Freelancing is kinda swell in the sense one get to gain experiences and knowledge in different perspectives.

Ask Kai Loon and I bet he has tonnes of stories to tell. It is definitely a different experience altogether compared to being in the workforce as one of the many work drones.
(If you don't know yet, Kai Loon is my uni-mate and we clicked the instant we knew each other. And oh, he is one talented artistic little bugger I have ever seen. Ahem.)

Now that I completed my research paper, and the convocation would be in August. I decided to re-enter the workforce. So wish me all the best and all suen suen li li. Ahem.

Anyway, I might be busy with the new job to update often but I will try to update once I have the time and opportunity. So, don't miss me.
(Not that BenardCometh Revelations have that much readers anyway. I bet I can count how many. Yes, just the three of you. Please stand up. Yes, you who are reading now.)

Here, an interesting video clip. Funny and interesting. It is in cantonese though and if you three don't know the meaning, feel free to email me and I will tell you the meaning. Ahem. Don't be shy now you three.

That is all.

Have a nice day.

Part of Chinese Culture

Part of Chinese Culture?????

Are you sure~~~~?????

I might be wrong or mistaken but that certainly looks like modern dance/sexy dance/non-traditional Chinese dance.

Since when that becomes part of Chinese culture?????

Well, maybe I don't know Chinese culture that well.

I should go over and learn the Chinese culture. Not dance. Maybe ogle. Yeah, by ogling will help learn the culture faster. Ahem.

Shake Yer Bomm Bomm

Shake Yer Bomm Bomm

Excuse me. I shall take my leave now.

Although I am a "banana", I still need to learn the Chinese culture mmmmkay.

p/s: Joking aside, I am driving back to Sibu tomorrow. So, BenardCometh Revelations might be full of spiderwebs when I am back again. Heck, there might be some spiders crawling about during my absence.

Kampua and Gong Pia, here I come.

Freak Car Accident

Updates: Alright it was a Camry... Ahem...

KUCHING: In what seems to be a freak car accident discovered early this morning at around 6.50AM, a Toyota Vios was seen resting in the gutters aka longkang at the Jalan Song, Kuching stretch. No other visible vehicle that may have caused the freak accident seen in a radius of 10KM indicating that the Toyota Vios was involved in a self accident scenario.
Car Accident
Apparently when the car crashed into the gutter, it is still driven for quite a while along the gutter's wall that is due to the fact that the car is seen quite a distance from the crash point of entry. Another possibility would be that the car was driven in such high speed that upon impact, the car still have the momentum to move to a distance from the crash entry.
Crash Entry
Nevertheless, the accident scene is not a pretty sight. There should be no casualties as there was no blood trails or stains seen at the accident scene. Initial investigation comes up with a conclusion that the driver must be drunk to be involved in self accident of that manner.

However, BenardCometh Revelations are not ruling out any other possibilities. Things happen. Perhaps it was something supernatural. Yes, you heard me. Supernatural. Look behind you. Booo.

Here, another two close up pictures of the accident.

Don't Drink and Drive

You can make a difference.

If it was supernatural, then you are screwed any how. Doesn't matter. Ahem.
And no, this is not an April Fool joke.

Anyway, Happy April Fool people and may you have fun fooling other people and not be fooled.

Drive safe.
