Ghostly Presence

Image
Ghosts, Demons, Devils and the like. Do they really exists? I have my so called encounter with the supernaturals before, although all the time the encounters are quite vague with no definite visual encounter but more to the spiritual side. People are fascinated and intrigued by the supernaturals, at least I am. Growing up in a multiracial environments means that I am exposed to the supernaturals of different cultures. Ghosts of different races yo. Now, that got me thinking. If there are ghosts of different races, then there should be ghosts of different religions. Correct? If so, then what if there is this exorcist who uses the Christian way of repelling ghosts but it so happened that the ghost is a Muslim ghost or even a Buddhist ghost. What will happen then? The ghosts laugh back at the exorcists? And that leads me to more thinking. Since there are many religions in this world and each religion states that those who doesn't believe or have faith will burn in the fiery fires of H

Hello Panda

Image
Went to Choice Daily and saw Hello Panda. Suddenly felt the urge to buy and eat of course as it has been quite sometime since I last tasted Hello Panda. What is Hello Panda? It is not a Panda saying hello but a type of Japanese biscuits which apparently is quite popular. Manufactured by Meiji Seiko, each biscuit/cookie is filled with fillings such as milk/vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. (The 3 fillings that I tried before). Milk Filling (Rm3.50) Chocolate Filling (Rm3.50) Printed on the biscuits are cartoon panda, of which you might be able to guess where the name comes from. Have a look yourself from the pictures. Panda Cartoon on biscuit The milk and chocolate fillings that I had is pleasantly tasty and there is no oily after taste like some other biscuits. Makes a great snack with the finger sized biscuits. The only problem would be that one packet is definitely not enough as there are only a handful of the biscuits in one packet. The Fillings I noticed that there is a hole

Turtle Invasion

Image
Nope. This is not another post ranting about Streamyx. This has something to do with my birthday . One of the more interesting birthday gifts I receive is a pair of turtles. Yes, you heard it right. A pair of turtles. Who in their sane mind would give turtles as birthday present? Although turtles represent longevity for the chinese but turtles as birthday present? and especially for me who can't even rear goldfish properly. From the looks of it, they won't represent longevity any longer. (In case you don't know, it is hard to fail at rearing goldfish but yours truly did it. Hurray. You get my point.) Now to think of it. It is interesting to see how long they( the turtles ) can last with me as its owner. Don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't like the present, I like all things that are given to me. The thing is that I know shits about taking care of turtles. There are a whole lot of things to consider in order to care for the turtles as pet. Alright, from her

25

Image
Twenty five years ago, today. A cute chubby baby boy greets the new alien world with a cry. Confused and frightened with the new surroundings yet curious with the new alien world which is so different and strange compared to the little world in his mother's womb. During the process of growing up, going through life, that baby boy experiences and learns a lot of things. Some good and some bad. Nothing is perfect, so he learned. However, through imperfection, at times one can truly understand the meaning of life of which he is still too green to really understand what life is really about. What exactly is LIFE? Why is there LIFE? Lots of questions left unanswered. Then he began to blog and thus YOU are now reading HIS blog. Which in another words .............................................. ................... ....... .... .. . . . . . . . . . . . . Tortoise Streamyx

Image
Since last few days, Streamyx has been very very slow to the point it is practically crawling trying its best for data transmission. I am beginning to have the 56K modem feel like way back then. No, it is even slower than 56K. Imagine that. In my frustrating and waiting for the pages to load, yours truly fire up Photoshop and created a simple banner. They might as well include it in their promotion campaigns to compliment their "On Best Effort Basis" policy. Here, have a look. Don't you think they should get a tortoise as their official mascot? That would be swell. (Oh ya, the tortoise picture is taken from google image. NOT illustrated by yours truly. Did some modifications to it though.) So, Streamyx. I know that the best-effort-thing stands but at least provide a decent connection. And to think I am actually thinking of upgrading to 1mb after the call from you guys. The upgrade to 1mb line with just an addition of rm11 per month. Yeah, right. Then again, don't tel

Public Blowjob

Image
Exactly like what the title says. Blowjob in the public and in broad daylight some more. The sheer courage and excitement involved must be overwhelming. They even act nonchalantly and pose for the camera. Yes, you heard it right. There are pictures for you bunch of horny curious people. There is a total of 3 pictures for show. ***Note*** Those who are easily offended by public display of affection are advised to proceed no further. Thank You. Anxious to see the pictures? DOTA Allstars Latest AI Map

Image
***Latest map update*** The latest non-AI would be DotA Allstars v6.59c and the AI would be DotA Allstars v6.59 AIPlus 1.52 Rev 1 download-able at the end of this post. DOTA stands for Defense Of The Ancients which is a game widely played all over the world. It is not exactly a game by its own as it is only a map to be played on Warcraft 3- Frozen Throne. Warcraft 3 - Frozen Throne However, DOTA players claim it as an obsession, a must, and to the extreme until it is considered a religion with individuals worshiping their own choice of heroes as GOD manifest. (as I said, the extreme cases) Oh yes, I can imagine how the prayers will be like. Oh, Yunero. Grant us your agility and your healing ability. Deliver us from the NOOBS with your ever powerful Omnislash . In Yunero we pray. Or even, Oh (insert your choice of hero here) , Bless us this mighty fine morning with your (insert your choice of heroes skills/spells) so that we can be productive and become a PRO in our work hence sh

Nikon D40 vs Canon 350D

Image
***Note** My trusty old Canon Powershot A70 is in the "camera hospital" again. Notice the again? Yep, the A70 has been in the "camera hospital" for a few times already and every time is because of the same problem. If I am not mistaken, the term for it is the Image Phenomena Due To CCD Malfunction which caused distortion, blank LCD and unable to power on just to name a few. Seems that it is caused during the manufacturing which explains that so far it is repaired at no cost. It is very irritating that the same problem always happen and I have to go to the service center over and over again, however the Canon customer service so far is good except for the keep on repairing part of course. That is why am trying to get a DSLR. Yours truly am considering two brands of DSLR camera. The Nikon D40 and the Canon 350D for the fact that the two DSLR are within budget. Doesn't have the two DSLR so can't really make a comparison. Yes, budget does matter. Wondering wheth

2008 Chinese Horoscope/Zodiac Feng Shui

***Warning*** Considerable long post ahead. Proceed if you are not scared of being bored to death. 2008 Chinese New Year starts on the 7th and in Malaysia the public holiday will be on the 7th and 8th of February 2008. Refer to 2008 Malaysia Public Holidays for other public holidays. Better plan ahead for your holidays to avoid any last minute rushing. Anyway, for the 2008 Chinese New Year, yours truly found some Feng Shui that is based on the 12 animals zodiac. To know more about the story/legend on how the 12 animals are selected as the zodiacs, read the Chinese Horoscope/Zodiac . What is Feng Shui? Direct translation would be Wind Water. In Chinese culture, gentle wind and clear water have always been linked with good harvest and good health. So, good Feng Shui is well, good and bad Feng Shui is of course bad and should be avoided. Feng Shui or "Fung Shway" as the Ang Mohs would pronounce it, is actually an ancient art developed in ancient China that teaches the way to b

Hijack This

Image
Recently yours truly encounter some problem with his computer and suspected some malware/virus might be at work. Tried those traditional methods such as scanning with anti virus and anti spyware but to no avail. Then found a software that is quite useful in detecting hidden malware. Presenting Hijack This (The Logo) This is what you will see when you run Hijack This Basically just click scan and you will be presented with a log of the processes running in your system and you can even delete suspicious processes that does not belong. Of course you will need some understanding on the processes that normally run on your system. A quick search at Uncle Google always gives you the answer to what each processes does. From there you can detect the virus or malware that is running silently on your system and then terminate it. It is worth a try if you are out of methods to test. And oh, it is free. Download Hijack This at Merijn.org. (Just click to download)

Photoshop Basics Tutorial Part 2- Layers

Image
This is the continuation from the Photoshop Basics Tutorial Part 1 . This post will explain about the layer components in Photoshop and its functionalities. One can go to the extent to say that without layers, Photoshop is nothing. (Yes, layers are THAT important) Whenever you create a new file in Photoshop, you will see a layer named as Background. By default the background layer is white, and any layers created after that are transparent. If you noticed, there is a padlock icon at the right of the layer. That indicates that the layer is locked for editing. To enable it for editing, just double click on the layer to unlock. Before we continue, lets looks at the layer components. Layer Opacity: Changes the opacity of the current layer, 0-100%. 0% being transparent. Blending Mode: Blends the selected layer with layers below it. Different type of blending mode will yield different results. (more on this in future post) Layer Visibility: Indicates whether the layer is visible or not. The

WD Scorpio WD1200BEVS

Image
Went to Saberkas (The place to go in Kuching if you want to buy computer stuff) to buy 2.5-inch hard disk to be used as external hard disk to store my ever important data. (Backups are very important, remember ?) Going to use that as my portable desktop (Virtual desktop-more on this in future post) , so that I can bring around my data and keep it with me at all times. That is the reason I am buying notebook hard disk. Anyway, at first I want to get the Samsung SATA 120GB hard disk but seems like there's no stock left. The reason I want Samsung is that I have a few Samsung Spinpoint hard disks and they have been functioning well so far and most importantly functions silently. Finally after looking around, I bought WD Scorpio WD1200BEVS 120GB SATA for Rm215 at 3E. Why settle for Western Digital? Well, I want to give it a try since a friend of mine who is working at a company that produce chips for the WD hard disks very recommended WD hard disks. 3 years warranty and was told by 3E
