Photo Hosting Service

There is quite a few selection of photo hosting services which are offered free for all.

I am sure at this point in time, most of you have at least use photo hosting service before or even are still using it.

I am just going to share with all of you the few photo hosting services which in my opinion deserve some mention.

The photo hosting services I have tried before and still have account are:

Shareapic

First up is the Photobucket. So far been using this service and it has been excellent. Fast single and bulk uploads and it is very user friendly not to mention also that you can have other functionalities. You will have to register an account first before starting to use. No worries as it is free. Highly recommended.

Second is the Flickr. Have used this service for quite some time already and so far it is NOT to my liking. I prefer Photobucket anytime. The uploads lags a bit and it is not user friendly at all. You can test it out and compare with Photobucket. Hey, don't just believe what I say. =p

Third up is the ImageShack. This is even worst than Flickr. Better choose Flickr compared to this. It lags big time when I tried to use it. One of the advantage is that there is no need for you to register for an account. You can just upload a picture instantly, a feature which I think is quite nifty. That feature alone is good enough for me to give it a chance. =p

Now the following two hosting services actually pays you whenever there are visits to your uploaded files. You can try to use this if you have tonnes of pictures to share with the world. Kill two bird with one stones eh, as the saying goes. Share and earn.

First up is the PicsPay which I have tried as normal photo hosting service. The upload is fast and very responsive with a simple interface which only takes a while to get used to. So far, this service can compete with Photobucket in terms of fast uploads and user friendly.

Lastly is the Shareapic. This is also similar like PicsPay where you get to earn whenever there are visits to your uploaded files. However, I kind of dislike this service as it tends to get real slow and also the thumbnail image generated is quite small for default settings. PicsPay win hands down.

That is it.

For recommendation, I would very much recommend the use of Photobucket and for those who want to test out the earn-by-hosting-your-file service, I would recommend PicsPay.

Yours truly would just stick to Photobucket for his hosting needs and also will try to tinker around with PicsPay and see how it goes.

***Note: Forget to add this previously. The Shareapic and PicsPay links are my referral link. Don't know whether it will be good or not though. For me, definitely I will choose PicsPay (at the moment) over Shareapic if I want to try em out. However, I am just going to stick to Photobucket. =p***

  4. Are these photo hosts your sponsors? Hehehe, joking, joking, of course! :P

I use Photobucket, I guess I am satisfied with its services. BUT (there's always that one big BUT, hehe), they don't arrange the photos according to number when preparing the link for posting in blogs. >_<
