This is supposed to be a post on Halloween but it seems that it is a bit late. However, better late than never right? Halloween is not that celebrated in Malaysia if compared to those in western countries, at least not in Sarawak. You might get some pubs or hotels doing some events for the day but never large scale as to go treat or tricking and stuff. So, Halloween usually represented by those "ang moh"(western) ghosts such as vampires, werewolves, mummy, and many more with vampires being the popular choice. Immortality anyone? Cooking is never my forte. The type of food that I can make is limited to those that can be fried and instant noodle type. However, suddenly I got this urge to cook something for dinner. Came across this at Boonage . Quite interesting. It is a test to see whether you are left brain user or right brain user or both. Look at the picture of a spinning girl below. She is spinning clockwise or anti-clockwise ? If you see her spinning clockwise then you are using more of your right brain. I am sure everyone likes chocolates. Who on Earth doesn't like chocolates???? (Even if there are, I refuse to believe it. =p) Everyone like chocolates and for some extreme ones, chocolate is their food, their religion, the very essence of life itself. Alright, I might have exaggerated a bit there but it is just to emphasize that chocolates is very irresistible. After all it is not called the food of the gods for nothing. Besides, many claim that chocolate have many benefits. There is this research that shows that there is a substance called phenylethylamine found in chocolate and seems to trigger feelings similar to falling in love. ~I AM BACK~ In case you don't know, yours truly went back to Sibu for the Raya holidays to visit his grandma. One of the perks of being a Malaysian is that there are lots of holidays due to the multicultural nature of Malaysia. (There are 3 major celebrations and a few smaller ones according to the different states. To know more about the coming public holidays, go to Malaysia 2008 Holidays .) So, what to do in Sibu? Aside from eating, there is not much to do. Sibu is quite famous for its cheap and mouth-watering foods. It is a quite laid back town where life flows at its own slow pace.
