If you have not read the news regarding the case where a lecturer is victimized just because of being strict in the marking then you should. Read Out Goes The Lecturer. And you wonder why the graduates need to be trained even after they graduated? Even more in English? They need the working experience, yes but retraining is just plain wastage of funds. The graduates should be already be trained in the basic necessary skills in their respective program especially communication or in this case English. And if you are saying that English is not important then why the need to retrain them after they graduate? Does that makes sense to you? And yet you wonder why on earth are there that many unemployed graduates around especially local graduates. Although the education system is to blame which ultimately contributed to the said scenario but not all blame/fault goes to the system. You yourself have to strive for excellence and always need to have the desire to search for knowledge and ...

Completed my research paper. Thus, it is about time to re-enter the workforce. During the recession. Oh yeah, talk about good timing. Regardless the odds, tomorrow will be my first day at work in a new job and entirely new field. After resigning middle of last year, yours truly been doing some freelance works while trying to complete his studies. Freelancing is kinda swell in the sense one get to gain experiences and knowledge in different perspectives. Ask Kai Loon and I bet he has tonnes of stories to tell. It is definitely a different experience altogether compared to being in the workforce as one of the many work drones. (If you don't know yet, Kai Loon is my uni-mate and we clicked the instant we knew each other. And oh, he is one talented artistic little bugger I have ever seen. Ahem.)
