For all Chinese, we have our own animal zodiac comparable to the westernized zodiac but lets just concentrate on the Chinese Zodiac or Horoscope, shall we.... =p Now, the Chinese Horoscope is based on 12 animals as according to the Lunar Calendar which follows a cycle of twelve years. Ever since the first zodiac was introduced by the Jade Emperor(Will be explained later who this guy is), the people have looked to the zodiac to understand their personalities. So, for each year an animal is assigned and those who are born in that year would have that particular animal as their zodiac. Hence it is also called the Twelve Animals Zodiac. The year begins or starts with according to this cycle: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar. When the 12 years cycle ends with the Boar, it will go back to the year of the Rat once again and the cycle continues on and on and on. You must be curious as to why only the specific 12 animals are selected and not ot...

Just noticed that today's date is 07/07/07. Just have to post about that. And still in time..=p How often can we get date like that. The next time the date reappears again (07/07/07) would be another thousand years. Imagine that. And it seems to many couples that marries today that this date is an auspicious date. Well, for those who can't managed to get married today. There is no need to fret. =p There is two more dates similar to this, the 08/08/08 and the 09/09/09.... Way cool. =p. And I believe most of the chinese would marry on 08/08/08 or 09/09/09 which stands for prosperity and longevity. Or even opens up businesses. Related to the Feng Shui and things. A trip to Jong's Crocodile Farm is a must for anyone who visits Kuching or even locals who never been there before. =P. There are a lot of crocodiles. (Yes, crocodiles....what do you expect from a crocodile farm??? Chickens??? =p) Now, perhaps you think that it is just a crocodile farm similar to all the crocodiles farm everywhere.
